Wild Game

According to information provided by Texas Parks & Wildlife, here is a list of the game available to hunt during the legally designated hunting season(s) in Texas.

Dove

• Special Season: CLOSED.
• Regular Season: Each day of the first split of the South Zone Dove season (Mourning and White-winged).

Rabbits

• May be taken while hunting dove.

Weaponry

• Shotgun

Means restrictions

• Shotguns are the only legal means that may be used or possessed during these hunts.

Special regulations

• Qualified disabled persons using ATVs or ORVs are responsible for closing all gates and gaps immediately after crossing, whether entering or leaving the premises, except when gate or gap is already open.

• Annual Public Hunting Permit
• Texas Hunting License
