About the lease

Wild Game

According to information provided by Texas Parks & Wildlife, here is a list of the game available to hunt during the legally designated hunting season(s) in Texas.

Dove

• Each day of the of the Central Zone Dove season.

Teal

• Each day of the Early Teal season.

Duck

• Each day of the North Zone Regular Duck (First Split Only). Shooting hours end at noon.

Rabbits

• May be taken while hunting dove, teal, and ducks.

Hogs

• May be taken while hunting dove, teal, and ducks.

Weaponry

• Shotgun

Shooting hours

• For Dove, Teal, Rabbits, Hares, and Feral Hogs are from ½ hour before sunrise until noon and 3:00 p.m. until sunset.

Means restrictions

• Shotguns with no larger than #2 shot are the only legal means that may be used. Non-toxic shot must be used for waterfowl hunting.

Special regulations

• No vehicles allowed past designated parking areas. No smoking. No dogs allowed. No fishing. Do not leave trash in the field including shotgun hulls. No hunting within 300 feet of the railroad tracks and oil field areas or in and around barns or farm equipment. Leave interior gates as found.
• Keep exterior gates closed and locked after each entrance and exit (combination is 2244).
• Parking allowed along gravel road outside the gate. Do not block the road or gate. Only foot traffic is allowed inside the hunt area.
