  • Oct. 19, Nov. 16, Dec. 17, and Jan. 14 (bag limit 10 squirrels and 3 rabbits per day).
  • Shooting hours end at noon.
  • ATVs are recommended.
  • No dogs allowed.

Rabbits

  • Oct. 19, Nov. 16, Dec. 17, and Jan. 14 (bag limit 10 squirrels and 3 rabbits per day).
  • Shooting hours end at noon.
  • ATVs are recommended.
  • No dogs allowed.

Weaponry

  • Shotgun
  • Rimfire rifles

Means restrictions

  • Firearms are restricted to shotguns and rimfire rifles only.
  • Air rifles may be used for hunting squirrels, rabbits and hares only.

Special regulations

  • Gates open one hour before legal shooting hours.
  • All hunters must check-in and check-out at designated check station.
  • An Annual Public Hunting Permit is required to participate during the Squirrel hunts.
  • All fees waived for persons under 17 years old accompanied by a permitted supervising adult.
  • No target practice allowed.
